Meet the team
Christine Borsah
Originally from Ghana, Christine founded AHEC in
2001, under the name African Children's Club. Her aim was to give
young people of African descent a voice in their local community and
further afield, to help build their confidence and self-esteem. Now
run from offices in Leyton, AHEC has grown from strength to
strength, reaching thousands of people in north London. Christine
remains the guiding light of AHEC - working with funders on both a
local and national level to ensure that projects and support
continue to be delivered to AHEC's many clients. Project Officer
Also originally from Ghana, Kofi joined AHEC in
2007. He supports Christine's role, and ensures the smooth running
of AHEC on a day-to-day basis! Kofi is the first point of contact
for any enquiries regarding course bookings or one-to-one sessions.
