Parenting classes
This 12-week course will help parents get to grips with the health and education systems, so they can represent their children more effectively. It will also help parents to become more involved in their local community, and improve their employability.
The course will start in June, and will be run during the evenings at the Forest Community Centre in Leyton.

Maths and English sessions
AHEC runs free one-to-one tuition sessions in English and Maths for young people aged up to 16, every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evening at its offices in The Forest Community Centre, Leyton.

World War I and II workshops
A series of workshops and an exhibition for schools across East London, with a focus on Africa’s involvement in the First and Second World Wars, funded by the Veterans Challenge Fund.
